The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced a new partnership with Secutix, which has become the official ticketing services partner of the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup tournament, which will take place across England in 2026.

Through the partnership, Secutix will manage the entirety of the ticketing operations across the 33-match tournament, with teams hailing from 12 different countries (including the host).  

This will include the appointment of a full-time head of ticketing to cover the tournament.

Additionally, Secutix’s FAN4LIFE business offering, which is focused on supporting major events, will provide logistical aid in the form of ticketing sales, fulfillment, payment processing, and in-person site operation and fan support

Speaking on the deal, ECB head of product and data, David Payne, commented: “[Secutix’s] full-service approach allows us to focus on creating a world-class tournament while they manage the complexities of ticketing, ensuring our fans and commercial partners receive the service and experience they deserve."

The T20 format tournament will begin on June 12 and run through July 5, with seven different venues across England to host, including the iconic Lord's Cricket Ground in London, Manchester’s Old Trafford, and Leeds’ Headingley.

This tournament is not Secutix’s entry into the English cricket market, as the firm is partnered with all but one of the ECB’s division one counties, and in addition supports the body’s elite The Hundred short-form competition.

In 2024, Edgebaston, another host venue of the 2026 tournament, renewed its partnership with Secutix, which also has a number of the UK’s other main cricket venues as partners, with deals in place with the county clubs of Lancashire (Old Trafford), Somerset (Taunton), Surrey (Oval), all of which will host T20 Women’s World Cup games, as well as Nottinghamshire (Trent Bridge), and Worcestershire (New Road).

Internationally, Secutix partnered with the ICC’s Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup last year.
