Specifically, the agreement allows Polymarket to stream live matches from Genius Sports’ portfolio of rights, including Italian soccer’s Serie A, while simultaneously offering its US users the chance to trade on relevant prediction markets.
The deal includes Genius Sports providing Polymarket with real-time data from the competitions to determine the outcome and settlement of the trades, as well as its integrity services to identify any irregular trading patterns.
Sean Conroy, executive vice president of rights and partnerships at Genius Sports, said: “Prediction markets are emerging as an important new way for fans to engage with live sports.
“As the category continues to grow, robust integrity safeguards are not simply optional; they are foundational. By bringing together official data, live streaming, league IP, integrity services and the reach of our Legend media network, we are helping Polymarket deliver a differentiated and trusted experience for sports fans across the US.”
The new agreement adds to Polymarket’s sports portfolio, which includes official league partnerships with baseball’s MLB, ice hockey’s NHL, and the UFC mixed martial arts promotion, as well as soccer’s Liga MX (Mexico), Serie A, Bundesliga (Germany), LaLiga (Spain), and MLS (US).
Ari Borod, president of sports business development at Polymarket, added: “Live streaming, official data and integrity infrastructure play an important role in establishing an engaging product that customers can depend on.
“Our partnership with Genius Sports gives professional leagues direct visibility into prediction market activity around their competitions and reflects the standard we hold across every official league relationship we build.”
Meanwhile, Polymarket has also secured a major partnership with the men’s ATP tennis tour in the US that includes streaming rights to the top two tiers of competition.
The agreement, struck with Tennis Data Innovations (TDI), a joint venture between the ATP Tour and its in-house ATP Media business, sees Polymarket become the tour’s official prediction market provider.
As part of the deal, Polymarket gains rights to stream all matches from the top-tier ATP Tour and second-tier ATP Challenger Tour live on its US platform.
Live coverage of matches will be streamed alongside opportunities for Polymarket users in the US to trade on relevant prediction markets, with real-time data and odds for all matches provided by Sportradar, TDI’s exclusive distribution partner, which will also provide integrity services to Polymarket.
The rights package covers around 20,0000 matches per ATP season, including major events such as Indian Wells, the Miami Open, the Cincinnati Open, and the ATP Finals, stretching across the main draw and qualifying singles, as well as doubles matches.
Borod said: “Tennis is a natural fit for prediction markets, with momentum shifting point by point and every match creating opportunities for expectations to change in real time.
“By combining live ATP streaming with official data and prediction markets in one place, we’re creating a more dynamic product allowing fans to experience and trade on markets relating to the game as it unfolds.
“We’re excited to work with TDI and Sportradar to introduce this new experience across the tour, while working closely with tennis governing bodies to help protect the integrity of the sport.”
