Wearable tech firm Oura has continued its sports sponsorship push in the US by adding the United States Tennis Association (USTA) to its portfolio.
As part of a “landmark” five-year partnership, the brand has been named as an official sponsor and wearable fitness device partner of the governing body and the US Open grand slam.

The tie-up represents the first wearable partnership for the USTA, which becomes the latest tennis organization to enter the sector.
With Oura Ring and Oura Membership, USTA players and their support teams will have access to key health and performance data.
The partnership will embed Oura across every level of the game, with the wearable Oura Ring to be made available to every main draw player competing in the US Open.
On the tournament grounds and across global broadcasts, the brand will have a brand presence through on-court logo visibility across Arthur Ashe Stadium, Louis Armstrong Stadium, and prominent signage throughout the grounds, and virtual LED messaging on court.
Oura will also operate a fan engagement experience, including activations such as product giveaways, sleep and recovery education, and personalized health insights.
Beyond the US Open, Oura will integrate across several USTA platforms, including USTA Coaching, USTA League National Championships, and USTA members.
Starting this year, Oura will sponsor the USTA League National Championships and offer benefits to both USTA members and USTA Coaching members.
The USTA and the Finland-based company will also collaborate on educational health and wellness initiatives.
In addition, Oura will become a founding partner of the USTA’s Player Performance Center, with naming rights for a wellness and recovery area within the facility upon its opening in 2027.
Kirsten Corio, USTA chief commercial officer, said: “Oura and the USTA share a vision rooted in health and wellness, and this partnership will amplify that in so many ways.
“Oura's presence at the US Open will have an immediate and long-lasting benefit for fans, players and coaches, and Oura's commitment to the grassroots — leveraging their best-in-class recovery science and data to benefit players and coaches alike — make this a partnership that can have a demonstrative impact on the growth and vitality of our game for generations to come.”
Oura has partnered with several US national bodies recently, including a deal with the US Soccer federation last month. In February, it was unveiled as the official wearable sponsor of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics, Paralympics, and Team USA.
In terms of the US Open, meanwhile, early March saw the USTA bring in Harvey (the AI platform for law firms) as a sponsor for that event.
