Across the season, Gravity Media will deliver live coverage of 45 AFLW matches, deploying its fleet of outside broadcast units, remote broadcast production technology, satellite and uplink facilities, and specialist technical crews to venues nationwide to support coverage of the competition across national pay-TV giant Foxtel and Kayo Sports.

Gravity Media will utilize its CelBo remote broadcast production solution to produce events through cellular and cloud-based technologies.

The AFLW production builds on Gravity Media’s wider partnership with Jam TV across major live sporting events, including the recent appointment of the pair as production partners for the A-Leagues soccer competitions in Australia.

Marcus Doherty, account executive for media services and facilities at Gravity Media in Australia, said: “We are proud to continue our partnership with Jam TV on the AFLW, providing broadcast and technical support across another thrilling season of the competition.

“Working together, we’ve evolved the broadcast operation by embracing remote technologies and finding new ways to work with greater flexibility.”

Cos Cardone, CEO of Jam TV, added: “Jam TV has been producing AFLW since the very first match of the inaugural season in 2017. Gravity Media have been with us the entire journey, and we are delighted to be continuing that partnership with our ongoing production commitment with Foxtel and Kayo Sports.”
