The Professional Squash Association (PSA) governing body has extended its rights deal with Sport en France, the television channel of the French Olympic Committee.

Through an agreement unveiled today, Sport En France will cover 10 major events from the PSA Squash Tour during the upcoming 2025-26 season.

This deal comes following an initial short-term rights tie-up between the two parties covering the second half of the 2024-25 campaign, struck in January and which ran through those finals in late June.

The first event to be covered will be the CIB Egyptian Open, from which the semi-finals and final - September 18 and 19 - will be shown live by Sport En France, as well as matches featuring French players.

In addition to the live event coverage, the magazine 'Squash, le mag' will return during 2025-26, while fresh content will be updated monthly on the Sport En France social media platforms.

The tie-up is part of a wider overall initiative from Sport En France, alongside the French Squash Federation, to promote the sport ahead of its Olympic debut at the Los Angeles games in 2028.

Melissa Soobratty, head of media and marketing at the PSA, has said: "We are delighted to renew our partnership with Sport-en-France, continuing to bring the spectacular action of world-class competitive squash to the masses, in the lead up to the LA28 Olympics."

Romain Schindler, a Sport En France director, added: "We are delighted to continue writing this great story alongside PSA and FFSquash. Squash deserves to be seen and shared, and we are thrilled that audiences embraced it from the very first season."

Squash was confirmed as part of the LA28 program in October 2023, alongside baseball/softball, flag football, lacrosse, and short-form Twenty20 cricket.
