Arsenal, the English soccer giants, have renewed their partnership with Japanese video game developer Konami.

The extended agreement will see the brand continue as the official football video gaming partner of the Premier League club.

Arsenal have had a licensing tie-up with Konami for over eight years.

The north London-based side will continue to feature as one of the core clubs in Konami’s eFootball game, with club kits and Emirates Stadium included.

The renewal also means the Japanese developer will retain multiple commercial rights across the club, including promotional access to players and the use of official club branding and imagery in the eFootball series.

Through the partnership, Arsenal have featured prominently in the eFootball Championship every year since 2022.

Last month, Konami extended its commercial deal with global soccer's governing body FIFA through 2026.

As part of that deal, the eFootball game will be one of the official competition games used during the next two iterations of the FIFAe World Cup annual competition.

Arsenal have unveiled several commercial partnership agreements in recent weeks ahead of the new season, most recently a new multi-year partnership with global lifestyle brand Stanley 1913.

This followed further deals in July with international payments and financial services platform Airwallex and beer brand Guinness.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa have become the latest Premier League club to partner with Guinness.

The Diageo-owned brand will become an official global partner of the club’s men’s and women’s teams, with its Guinness and Guinness 0.0 products to be available to fans at Villa Park from the start of the upcoming 2025-26 season.

Guinness was also recently named as the official beer of the Premier League for the next four seasons.

The Irish beer is set to further enhance its presence in the competition through a deal with Newcastle United that is reportedly expected to be announced soon.

Elsewhere, Chelsea have announced a new multi-year partnership with Champions Travel and Travel Connection, who will serve as the club’s first exclusive official hospitality travel partner.

As part of the agreement, Champions Travel and Travel Connection will be exclusive independent sellers of official hospitality packages outside the UK.

The new deal builds on a relationship between the two parties that spans over 15 years.
