Inter Milan, the Italian soccer giants, have today confirmed a new four-year shirt sponsorship deal with Sweden-based online betting and gaming firm Betsson.  

From the 2024-25 season, the company’s Betsson Sport logo will feature on the front of the men’s first team shirts in all Serie A, Coppa Italia, UEFA Champions League, and FIFA Club World Cup games.

The betting firm will replace Paramount+, the US streaming service that has been the club’s main shirt sponsor since the last stretch of the 2022-23 season.

The rights initially became available near the conclusion of 2022-23 due to Inter’s shirt sponsorship deal with blockchain platform DigitalBits ending early because of alleged missed payments.

Betsson is understood to have beaten off competition from brands including Qatar Airways.

The firm will feature its Betsson Sport logo on Inter’s shirts due to Italian regulations preventing clubs from overtly displaying betting brand advertising.

Betsson Sport will also activate the sponsorship through exclusive fan engagement activities with Inter players as part of the company’s Betsson Sport Club project, an initiative created that aims to promote participating clubs.

Inter’s training kit sponsor is LeoVegas, with that deal set to conclude following the 2024-25 season.

The Milan club won their 20th Serie A title last season.
