The deal also includes rights to show the KNVB Cup and the Dutch Super Cup for the next three seasons.

German sports-focused broadcaster Sportdigital has renewed its long-running rights deal for Dutch soccer’s top-tier Eredivisie for another three seasons.

The extension will see the dedicated Sportdigital Fussball pay-TV channel continue to show every Eredivisie match across all 34 rounds each season.

The deal also includes rights to show the domestic KNVB Cup competition and the Dutch Super Cup until the end of the 2027-28 season.

Sportdigital has held Eredivisie rights in Germany since the 2010-11 campaign, its longest-running rights contract.

Bendix Eisermann, managing director of Sportdigital, said: “The Eredivisie is part of Sportdigital’s DNA. For 15 years now, we have been achieving very good audience figures with the Dutch league, the cup, and the Super Cup. We are looking forward to another three years with the attractive perennial favourite of our football programme.”

Last month, Sportdigital renewed its deal for Poland’s top-flight Ekstraklasa for the next two seasons.

The broadcaster’s soccer portfolio also includes the Portuguese league, Spain’s Copa del Rey, North America’s MLS, the Japanese J.League, the Scottish Premiership, and the AFC Champions League.

Sportdigital Fussball provides 24/7 and is widely available in the DACH region – through platforms such as Sky Deutschland (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), Vodafone, Magenta V, and Zattoo.
