CazeTV adds Serie A to European soccer offering

CazeTV, the Brazilian sports streaming platform run by the LiveMode agency alongside streamer Casimiro Miguel, has bolstered its portfolio of major European soccer leagues with the addition of Italy’s Serie A.

The streamer will have a package of rights to the league for the upcoming 2025-26 season.

The games will be shown on YouTube and the Amazon Prime Video platform, which carries CazeTV.

Primary Serie A rights are held in Brazil by media giant Disney, which airs matches on its Disney+ service and linear ESPN channels.

Disney will show all games on Disney+ and approximately five matches per round on ESPN.

The recently launched XSports free-to-air TV channel also holds rights to Serie A and will broadcast up to five matches per week, meanwhile.

Serie A’s strategy of securing multiple broadcasters in Brazil breaks a four-year cycle in which only Disney+ and ESPN had the rights in the country.

This follows a strategy adopted by Germany’s Bundesliga in the territory in recent years.

In the previous cycle, CazeTV provided coverage of the Coppa Italia cup competition and the Italian Super Cup in Brazil, but not the top league.

Italy's top-flight features several Brazilian players, including the likes of Bremer (Juventus), Carlos Augusto (Inter Milan), David Neres (Napoli), and Ederson (Atalanta).

With the Serie A deal, CazeTV now has rights to three of Europe’s ‘big five’ leagues, adding to its agreements for the Bundesliga and France’s Ligue 1. In club soccer, the platform also shows the UEFA Europa League and Conference League competitions.

Last month, the streamer snapped up rights to show all 104 matches from the 2026 FIFA World Cup national teams tournament.

CazeTV also covered action from the 2022 FIFA World Cup, its first major rights deal after launching that same year.

In late February, meanwhile, the platform acquired near-live and highlights rights for a range of top-tier South American soccer properties through 2026.

Since launching in late 2022, CazeTV has shown action from some of the most high-profile sporting events worldwide, including the Paris Olympic Games last year, as well as NFL American football games played internationally.
