Catalist becomes sole provider of Aussie Open data to US betting firms

Catalist, licensed in 28 US states, will be in charge of providing sportsbooks in that market with premium data.

A deal has been struck through which US sportsbooks will be supplied with data covering tennis' upcoming Australian Open grand slam tournament, by the Catalist Sports betting data provider.

The firm, through a multi-year tie-up unveiled today, now holds exclusive US distribution rights - to sportsbooks - for Australian Open data.

The agreement begins with the 2026 edition of the event, which is set to get underway with pre-event qualifying on January 12. The tournament proper then runs between January 18 and February 1.

Catalist Sports, licensed in 28 U.S. states, will be responsible for providing registered US sportsbooks with "premium, low-latency, high-frequency data."

The data and streaming partner of Tennis Australia - the tournament's organizing body - is currently the Infront Bettor division of the Switzerland-based agency, through a deal announced in mid-September. Catalist is serving as the exclusive Infront Bettor reseller in this instance.

Level 2 and Level 3 official data will be collected through this new partnership, going "far beyond traditional scoring feeds," Catalist has claimed.

We are already partnering with key US operators, including FanDuel, DraftKings, Fanatics, theScore Bet, Rush Street Interactive, Caesars, Hard Rock Bet, and many more.”

The tie-up aims to enable sportsbooks to "create new, highly granular betting markets, support advanced modelling, and unlock next-generation in-play experiences."

US audiences will have numerous stars to support at the Australian Open, including players such as Taylor Fritz, Ben Shelton, and Coco Gauff, all of whom are expected to progress to the latter stages.

Earlier this week, Tennis Australia announced a record prize purse for the 2026 edition of the Australian Open, with a total AUD$111.5 million ($74.88 million) to be distributed to players during the tournament.
