Arsenal and Athletic Brewing agree multi-year renewal

The US-based brewer will continue as the Premier League club’s official alcohol-free beer partner.

Arsenal, the English Premier League soccer giants, have renewed their partnership with Athletic Brewing Company, the US non-alcoholic brewery.

Under an expanded multi-year agreement, Athletic will continue as the club’s official alcohol-free beer partner.

The company initially partnered with Arsenal on a one-year deal for the 2024-25 season, becoming the club’s first official non-alcoholic beer partner with exclusive pouring rights at Emirates Stadium. 

Athletic’s Run Wild IPA brand will continue to be sold in cans throughout the stadium during all men's and women's fixtures and served on draught at the club level.

As part of the renewed deal, the low-calorie Athletic Alcohol-Free Lager will also be available in cans throughout the stadium’s general concourse bars. 

Athletic Brewing will also expand its presence across Arsenal’s digital, in-stadium, and supporter engagement platforms. The two will also collaborate to launch a limited-edition, co-branded brew later in the season.

Arsenal also recently announced a new global partnership with Japanese beer brand Asahi.

The deal will see Asahi Super Dry become the club’s official beer partner, with Asahi UK gaining exclusive pouring rights for lager, ale, and cider at Emirates Stadium from the start of the 2025-26 season.

Asahi replaces London brewer Camden Town Brewery, which first partnered with the club in July 2019 before extending its contract ahead of the 2023-24 season. Before that, Danish beer brand Carlsberg held the official beer designation for the north London club.

In terms of other commercial activity, Arsenal expanded their partnership with Chinese television and consumer electronics manufacturer TCL into a multi-year, global tie-up in May.

Arsenal’s sponsorship portfolio includes a front-of-shirt contract with Emirates (with the airline also having stadium naming rights) estimated to be worth $50 million annually, while Adidas, Sobha Realty, and Visit Rwanda are also key partners.

The club finished second in the Premier League in 2024-25, while the women's team won the UEFA Women's Champions League. 

Arsenal will begin their 2025-26 Premier League campaign against Manchester United on August 17.
