National Football League (NFL) team the New York Jets have announced a new partnership with event management platform TicketManager.

The multi-year agreement will see the company serve as the team's official corporate ticket manager.

The deal involves TicketManager offering its proprietary software for free to Jets corporate clients to allow them to transfer and track tickets for Jets games, as well as sporting and entertainment events throughout the greater Tri-State Area.

TicketManager will identify unused tickets throughout the New York and New Jersey market, expedite mobile transfers, and generate real-time scan reports.

Additionally, Jets corporate club seat season ticket holders will be able to retain the value of any unused tickets through TicketManager's exclusive partnership with Ticketmaster to sell excess inventory.

TicketManager will also become a supporting partner of the Jets Partner Alliance program, the Jets’ business-to-business platform that connects the franchise’s corporate partners and suite partners.

Tony Knopp, chief executive and co-founder of TicketManager, said: “We are in important times for companies that use sports tickets for customers and partners. Our partnership with the Jets will help companies continue to invest in sports and entertainment tickets, which are vital for growing and maintaining business.”

Executive consultant Michael Goldstein negotiated the deal on TicketManager’s behalf.

Earlier this month, the Jets’ MetLife Stadium announced a partnership with Shift4, the integrated payments and commerce technology company, to process point-of-sale payments throughout the venue.

As part of the deal, Shift4’s point-of-sale hardware, software, and payment processing solutions will be present at the venue for all events.
