Air Liquide, the French gas company, has been unveiled as the latest sponsor of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris.
The company has been designated as an official supporter in hydrogen and will contribute to reducing the event’s carbon emissions.
Through the partnership, struck with the Paris 2024 organizing committee, the group will supply hydrogen for vehicles transporting athletes and officials.
Several hundred of the hydrogen-powered Toyota Mirai, the official vehicle of Paris 2024, will be filled with hydrogen supplied by Air Liquide.
The French company joins brands including Re-uz (through a deal last month), Technogym, Fnac Darty, Atos, Egis, GL Events, La Poste, Myrtha Pools, Optic 2000, Ottobock, Randstad, RGS Events, and Salesforce as a Paris 2024 official supporter.
