Viettel Telecom, the telecommunications company in Vietnam, has secured exclusive domestic rights to soccer's 2024 UEFA European Championship national teams tournament.

All 51 matches from the competition in Germany will be shown on the company’s TV360 television streaming application.

TV360 will hold the exclusive rights to broadcast and distribute the tournament across all television platforms and social media in the country.

The deal was agreed with the CAA Eleven agency, UEFA’s exclusive sales agent for its national team competitions.

Euro 2020 (played in 2021 due to the pandemic) was shown in the territory by Vietnam Television, the country’s national broadcaster.

Viettel Telecom’s deal for Euro 2024 is part of a wider agreement for rights to UEFA national team competitions in Vietnam, which includes Nations League matches until 2028.

UEFA has concluded several recent broadcast deals for Euro 2024, with BNT and Nova acquiring rights in Bulgaria, and Globo and CazéTV, the Brazilian YouTube channel run by prominent streamer Casimiro Miguel, securing rights in that country.

Last month (November), meanwhile, SPOTV, the pan-regional sports channel of South Korean broadcaster Eclat Media, acquired exclusive rights in Malaysia and Singapore, while SportyTV, the African media platform, landed a package of free-to-air rights in sub-Saharan Africa.

The opening match of the Euros will see hosts Germany face Scotland on June 14 at the Allianz Arena in Munich. The final will take place on July 14 at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin.
