Sky Sports, the dominant pay-TV sports broadcaster across the UK and Ireland, has secured the rights for the London Grand Final of the Ultimate Tennis Showdown series.
This deal is a first for Sky, which has never before shown the tournament, and was brokered by commercial agency Sportfive.
The event will take place from December 5 to 7 at London, UK’s 6,000-capacity Copper Box Arena
Its eight-person field will include top-ranked stars such as Australia’s Alex de Minaur (World #7), home favorite Jack Draper (#10), Norway’s Casper Ruud (#12), Russian Andrey Rublev (#16), and more.
Each of these players is guaranteed a minimum of three matches each, courtesy of the unique format the competition offers, with the finalists playing in as many as five fixtures.
Speaking on the deal, Sportfive senior vice president for international media Karsten Mahlmann commented: “UTS is a truly innovative property that challenges the traditional tennis format while delivering high-energy, entertaining competition for a broad audience.
“Sky Sports is the ideal partner to help elevate this event in a key market, and we are confident that UK and Irish viewers will embrace this fresh take on the sport.
Sky Sports operates a dedicated tennis-specific channel in the UK and Ireland, which will likely host the UTS action.

In the past, UK rights have been held by the Tennis Channel service, which is available as a streaming add on to smart TV and discontinued its UK availability on September 30, 2025, leaving UTS without broadcast distribution in the major tennis market.
Sky holds a wide range of elite tennis rights, headlined by its long-term coverage deal with both the men’s ATP and women’s WTA elite tours.
That deal, agreed in 2023, will run through 2028, with Sky showcasing more than 4,000 tennis matches per year exclusively across the UK, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
This includes the WTA and ATP tour season-ending finals, as well as all of the coveted WTA and ATP 1000, 500, and 250-tier tournaments.
