German pay-TV heavyweight Sky Deutschland has retained one of its marquee sporting broadcast rights, securing continued coverage of men’s tennis’ elite ATP Tour through 2033.

Having broadcast ATP Tour action since 2017, this new agreement ensures that Sky will continue to provide coverage of all nine top-line Masters 1000 tournaments, and of the annual season-ending ATP Finals.

This will be supplemented by live coverage of “most” secondary ATP 500 events (of which there are 16), and “extensive” broadcasts of the tertiary ATP 250 events (of which there are 30 in total).

Coverage will be disseminated across the Sky Sports linear channels and the WOW streaming service. 

The agreement extends across the DACH region, encompassing Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, and the region of South Tyrol (an autonomous zone in Northern Italy).

Speaking on the announcement, Mark Webster, the chief executive of the ATP Media commercial arm, said: “Sky has been our trusted partner for a long time, and we are very pleased to extend our cooperation with the company to continue to provide great entertainment to fans."

Sky Deutschland’s senior vice president for sports rights and commercialization Hans Gabbe added: “Sky Sport has been the undisputed home of tennis in Germany for almost ten years and will remain so in the long term. Together with all tennis fans, we are looking forward to world-class tennis on the ATP Tour and many more unforgettable moments."

The terms of this renewed agreement will begin in 2029, as Sky already holds ATP Tour rights through 2028 in a deal that also includes its sister network in the UK and Ireland.

This new early extension perhaps reflects the strength of the broadcast partnership.

Of particular interest to German viewers will be current ATP Tour world #3 Alexander Zverev, while world #1 Jannik Sinner of Italy hails from South Tyrol and speaks German natively.

At the same time, Sky Deutschland also holds the rights to the WTA Tour women’s tennis (also running through 2028), and the US Open, one of the sport’s four ‘Grand Slam’ majors.

The 2026 ATP Tour contains numerous stops in the DACH region, including April 13’s Bavarian International Tennis Championships, May 18’s Hamburg Open, June 15’s Halle Open (ATP 500), and October 26’s Swiss Indoors Basel and Vienna Open. All of these are ATP 500 events, while a similar number of ATP 250s will also be held across DACH.
