The Scottish Football Association (SFA) governing body has announced a new five-year partnership with beverage giant PepsiCo.

Through the agreement, the Pepsi Max brand becomes the official soft drinks partner of the country’s senior men’s and women’s teams through to July 30, 2030.

In addition, Pepsi Max has secured pouring rights at Hampden Park, Scotland's multi-purpose national stadium.

The partnership will be activated through a multi-channel rollout that includes exclusive access and entertainment.

The deal comes as the men’s team gears up to participate in the flagship FIFA 2026 World Cup being held across the US, Canada, and Mexico, from June 11 to July 19.

Pepsi Max's contract will encompass several other major men's and women's competitions, including the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup, men's UEFA Euro 2028 - which Scotland will co-host with other UK nations - the 2029 UEFA Women's Euro, and the 2030 men's FIFA World Cup.

Brendan Napier, commercial director of Scottish Football Marketing, said: “We have a lot to look forward to with our national teams – from now through until 2030, and beyond. This partnership is built for impact. Bringing supporters closer to the Scotland national teams through bold, innovative content and experiences.”

PepsiCo’s tie-up with the SFA quickly follows its recent agreement with the English Football Association.

Pepsi Max was also named as the official soft drinks partner of England’s senior men’s and women’s teams under a four-year deal.

PepsiCo has recently turned its attention to soccer, with new partnerships secured with the Leagues Cup, the annual soccer competition featuring clubs from Major League Soccer (MLS) in the US and Mexico’s Liga MX, and the Saudi Pro League competition, as well as an extension to its partnership with UEFA for its women’s tournaments.

The brand has been a supporter of the men's UEFA Champions League since 2015 and UEFA Women’s Football since 2019.

The company’s Frito-Lay snack business, meanwhile, is a global sponsor for both the men’s 2026 and women’s 2027 FIFA World Cups.

Scotland will begin their World Cup campaign on June 13 against Haiti. They will also face Brazil and Morocco in Group C.
