The Ottawa Senators, the NHL ice hockey franchise, and Canada's Bell Media broadcaster have announced a new long-term rights extension for regional coverage.
Through the renewed agreement, regional Senators games will continue to be available on Bell Media’s TSN and RDS sports networks in English and French.
In addition, TSN Radio 1200 remains the exclusive English-language radio partner of the franchise, delivering live coverage of games as well as insight and analysis on the team.
The Senators' regional matchups are available to viewers located in the team’s designated broadcast region and stream live through the network’s digital platforms.
The team’s designated broadcast region, as defined by the NHL, includes Eastern Ontario, Québec, and Atlantic Canada.
Last October, Bell Media also secured extended deals to continue as the regional broadcaster for Montreal Canadiens and Winnipeg Jets games. TSN also delivers coverage of Toronto Maple Leafs games.
NHL franchises will play an extra two games per season from the 2026-27 campaign, for a total 84-game season. The change comes as part of a new collective bargaining agreement that will also see a shorter preseason and more games against divisional rivals.
National rights to the NHL are held by Canadian telecoms giant Rogers through a 12-year, $7.7 billion deal that started this season.
With just five games remaining in the regular season, the Senators are battling to secure the fourth and final playoff spot in the Atlantic Division with the Boston Bruins, who currently occupy the position with a superior record.
