The Ineos Grenadiers professional cycling team has added to its growing list of commercial partners after striking an agreement with German sportswear giant Adidas.

The multi-year deal will see Adidas become the official off-bike clothing and footwear partner of the UK’s only UCI WorldTour team, with the team having already worn some Adidas apparel since mid-2025.

For the remainder of the 2025 season, the Ineos Grenadiers team will wear a variety of Adidas t-shirts, long-sleeved tops, hoodies, jackets, caps, and footwear before a full collaborative off-bike range is launched ahead of the 2026 racing season to supply the team’s support staff and riders.

The pair are planning to offer fans licensed teamwear along with the wider collection.

On the racing side, the team currently wears Gobik and Kask helmets, while British brand Belstaff, which is owned by the team’s parent company Ineos, supplies off-bike jackets and coats to team staff and riders.

Founded in 2009 as Sky Procycling, Ineos Grenadiers, run by the petrochemical giant, is one of the most successful cycling teams with over 500 race victories and 12 Grand Tour championships, including seven Tour De France wins.

Kerryn Foster, general manager for specialist sports at Adidas, said: “We are excited for INEOS Grenadiers to join the three-stripe family and are looking forward to building from our longstanding heritage in cycling in order to support the team’s athletes on their mission to win more Grand Tours.

“This announcement is just the beginning - we can’t wait to give Ineos Grenadiers fans the chance to show their support with their own teamwear, when we launch a full off-bike collection for the 2026 season.”

The new partnership comes after the team appointed global sports marketing firm Sportfive as its exclusive sales agency to secure non-endemic global partners.

Through the collaboration, the agency has been working to identify long-term partnership opportunities with premium brands looking to collaborate with the Ineos Grenadiers.

Just last week, oil and gas giant TotalEnergies was announced as a jersey partner of the team, with that deal covering the upcoming 2025 edition of the Tour de France, set to begin on July 5 in Lille.
