DAZN, the international sports streaming service, has partnered with cryptocurrency-based prediction market firm Polymarket to offer prediction trading to its users.

Through the agreement, Polymarket data will be integrated into live sports broadcasts on DAZN.

The OTT platform said this will give sports fans “instant visibility into shifting probabilities, helping them understand momentum, potential outcomes, and key moments in sporting fixtures in a brand new, dynamic, and data‑driven way.”

Prediction markets enable people to buy and sell contracts based on the outcomes of sports, cultural moments, and many other events. DAZN is seeking to use the partnership with Polymarket to allow its users to engage with these markets directly within its platform.

Shay Segev, CEO of DAZN Group, said: “DAZN is laser-focused on bringing fans closer to the sports they love. Through our partnership with Polymarket, we will offer another immersive and exciting way for fans to experience sport. Integrating prediction trading will be an excellent addition to our platform.”

DAZN will apply for the relevant CFTC licences and, subject to approval, intends to introduce predictions trading in the United States in the coming months. Other countries may follow, subject to local regulation.

Polymarket is not currently accessible worldwide, and between 2022 and 2025 was not legally allowed to operate in the US.

More In Nevada, which is perhaps the closest thing US combat sports has to a ‘home’ market, the state’s gaming regulator is also in dispute with major sportsbook operators FanDuel and DraftKings over their own attempts to enter the predictions marketplace, stating its belief that the offering is illegal.

Since then, both operators have withdrawn their applications to operate their respective services in Nevada and will instead pursue the concept in markets where outright sports betting is not yet legal.

Shayne Coplan, founder and CEO of Polymarket, stated: “Every sporting event is a conversation about what happens next. Polymarket turns that conversation into real-time probabilities, shaped by millions of users around the world.

“Through our first-of-its-kind partnership with DAZN, we’re embedding those insights directly into the viewing experience - from boxing to the Champions League - so fans can track momentum, debate outcomes, and engage with sports in a way that’s never existed before.”

Polymarket also recently teamed up with TKO Group, the multisport business giant, becoming the official prediction market partner of its UFC and Zuffa Boxing promotions.
