The Fireballs GC, Torque GC, and Stinger GC teams from LIV Golf, the controversial golf tour backed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), have announced LIV Golf’s first multi-team partnership deal with British apparel brand Stuburt.

The deal makes Stuburt the exclusive on-course apparel partner for all three teams.

The multi-year partnership involves custom team branded golf apparel products and accessories being made available to fans worldwide online, in retail locations and at LIV events from Summer 2024.

The Stuburt design teams worked with each team captain to produce an on-course apparel collection for each team featuring their logos and brand accents throughout.

The partnership is set to produce team-specific men’s polos, pants, travel kit clothing, rain gear, lifestyle apparel, and accessories.

Stuburt’s managing director, Graeme Stevens, has said: “Stuburt has an incredible heritage, and we are delighted to be building on that as we announce these partnerships today.

“Over the last two years, we have implemented a growth strategy for the Stuburt brand that has enabled us to reach this point and see our products worn by some of the best players in the world. Their response to the product range has been fantastic and their input has been incredibly valuable.

“We are excited to see how these partnerships develop over the coming years and look forward to introducing golf fans around the world to our brand and product range.”

Last week LIV Golf announced a new tie-up with streaming platform Caffeine.

The deal includes live coverage of Friday matches, as well as new original programs like Club 54 Pre-Round and Post-Round shows, the Fairway to Heaven podcast, Mic’d Up features, LIV Films, and LIV Lessons.

Last month, meanwhile, LIV announced a multi-year partnership with collectibles firm Panini.

The deal makes Panini the exclusive trading card partner for the LIV Golf League.

This year’s LIV Golf League will feature 14 events in eight countries.

The series, which launched in 2022, has thus far managed to attract a selection of the world’s top golfers by paying them eye-watering sums.
