Soccer icon Cristiano Ronaldo has invested in Brazilian streaming enterprise LiveModeTV, the international arm of the media company perhaps best known for its affiliation with streamer Casemiro Miguel and his CazeTV broadcasting enterprise.
Ronaldo has acquired a “significant stake” in LiveMode’s global broadcast arm, although figures have not been revealed.

In December, LiveMode expanded into Ronaldo’s native Portugal with LiveModeTV, launching a digital channel and securing rights to the top match per game per day (34 in total) from the 2026 FIFA World Cup soccer tournament across June and July, which it will air for free on YouTube.
In a statement, Ronaldo said that the deal will seek to “enrich the ecosystem, extending the reach and involvement of the main competitions through broadcasts on YouTube and content distributed on all social media platforms for everyone."
Ronaldo, currently with Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr, is perhaps one of the most iconic players in soccer history and has reportedly amassed a personal wealth of over $1.4 billion.
CazeTV first launched in 2022, and since then has covered – from the world of soccer – that year's World Cup, the 2023 Women's World Cup, and the new-look FIFA Club World Cup. In recent years, it has snapped up a myriad of rights across sports and become one of Brazil’s most prominent players in the industry.
In 2025 alone, the streamer acquired near-live and highlights rights for a range of top-tier South American soccer properties through 2026, and rights for the top-tier Copa Libertadores and second-tier Copa Sudamericana pan-continental club competitions. The streamer also added Italy’s Serie A to its soccer offering for the 2025-26 season, and Germany's Bundesliga in 2026-27.
Most recently, the channel diversified its portfolio by securing a rights deal with World Table Tennis (WTT), the organization that manages the International Table Tennis Federation’s commercial rights.
The platform has also shown action from some of the most high-profile sporting events worldwide, including the Paris Olympics last year, as well as NFL American football games played internationally.
In Brazil, CazéTV is primarily distributed through YouTube, but is also available on Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, Samsung TV Plus, and Sky+, where it launched its first linear channel.
