The Marriott Bonvoy hotel group has expanded its commercial sponsorship agreement with the International Cricket Council (ICC) to include the upcoming Women’s T20 Cricket World Cup.

The new agreement will see Marriott Bonvoy serve as the ICC’s official accommodation partner during the flagship women’s tournament, which will be held across England this year from June 12 to July 5.

The agreement builds on Marriott Bonvoy’s multi-year agreement, struck in January, to serve as the ICC’s official accommodation partner through 2029, covering all major men’s events and tournaments, including the T20 World Cup, which was held between February and March 8 this year.

As part of the agreement, Marriott Bonvoy members will be able to use their points to bid or redeem more than 150 World Cup-related offers, including matchday tickets and hospitality experiences, pre-match experiences, and ICC legend training experiences, as well as its Anthem Kids feature, which will offer children of members the chance to walk out on the field alongside players at the start of games.

Beyond the tournament, Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of hotels will support accommodation requirements for ICC events and conferences throughout the year.

ICC chief executive Sanjog Gupta said: “Our collaboration with the global partner on the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 has already demonstrated how powerful experience-led engagement can be to help build deeper connections with fans.

“As the global stature and affiliation for ICC's women's events grow, this partnership will help enhance fan access and deliver more engaging experiences, ensuring we continue to serve the game and its fans in deeper, more meaningful ways.

“Women’s cricket has entered a defining phase of growth, and partnerships like this are key to driving its future.”

The deal comes as interest in women’s cricket continues to grow, with the 2025 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup generating over 5 billion video views globally, jumping from 1.5 billion in 2024, with social media interactions more than tripling from the previous edition. Broadcast viewership also grew, with a record 185 million tuning into the final.

The 2026 edition of the T20 Women’s World Cup will be the first to feature 12 nations and a record prize pot.
