Formula E, the all-electric motor racing series, has appointed Will Brown, a former executive from premium experiences and commercial agency Legends Global, as its new chief commercial officer.
Brown is set to join the series' executive leadership team in July and will report to chief executive Jeff Dodds. He will be responsible for Formula E's overall commercial strategy, as well as the continued growth of its partnership stable.

He joins the motor racing property from a position as global head of motorsport and as a senior vice president at Legends Global.
Before that, he was commercial director at CRED Investments, while he has also held major roles at English soccer heavyweights Arsenal and Manchester United, as well as at the Ironman Group, where he was vice president of global partnerships for around 18 months.
Dodds said: "As we look ahead to the GEN4 era, we have taken the opportunity to evolve our commercial structure to ensure we are fully set up to capitalise on the significant global momentum behind the series.
“Will brings a rare combination of strategic clarity, international experience, and a proven ability to deliver commercial growth at the highest level."
Brown added: “I’m incredibly excited to be joining Formula E at such a transformative time. The championship sits at a unique intersection of world-class sport, innovation, and sustainability, creating a powerful platform for global brands.
“There is a clear ambition to scale and evolve the commercial proposition, and I’m looking forward to working with Jeff and the team to unlock new opportunities and build on the championship’s strong global trajectory."
In terms of recent senior Formula E hirings, mid-December saw the series announce Michaella Snoeck, formerly of Formula 1, as its new chief media officer.
Snoeck replaced the previous Formula E vice president for media and business affairs, Jonathan Salt.
Commercially, meanwhile, last month saw Formula E strike a new deal with Corpay, the global financial services company that has developed a strong presence in sports.
The Corpay Cross-Border service becomes Formula E's exclusive foreign exchange provider.
Other major series sponsors include title partner ABB, global partner Julius Bar, as well as brands such as Google Cloud, Hankook, the Saudi government-backed PIF, DHL, and SABIC.
The next E-Prix of the ongoing 2025-26 Formula E will take place in Berlin, Germany, in early May.
