Global racing series SailGP has brought in the Après Provence wine brand as a new commercial partner for its upcoming Great Britain Sail Grand Prix.

That Provence-based rosé wine brand becomes the exclusive rosé supplier for the race stadia, with the event set to take place off the coast of Portsmouth, on the south coast of England, across July 25 and 26.

This event marks the first European stop on the 2026 SailGP calendar, and the eighth race overall.

The race is title sponsored by the Emirates airline, through a multi-year agreement unveiled in late 2024.

SailGP's chief commercial officer, Charlie Dewhurst, commented: "Après Provence is a perfectly aligned partner for us at SailGP and an excellent addition to our race stadium beverage offering …

"We are always looking for partners that elevate our race stadium offering and our brand, and Après Provence does just that.”

Tom Glanfield, co-founder and chief executive at Après Provence, added: "Both brands exist at the intersection of performance and lifestyle, bringing people together through memorable experiences, whether that's on the water, in the mountains, at the beach, or around the table. We can’t wait to see supporters enjoying our rosé and creating unforgettable moments, from the first race to the final celebration.”

Late last month, SailGP confirmed Rome as the host city for the Italy Sail Grand Prix, as it continues to refine its 2027 calendar.

The event will be held from September 11 to 12 as part of an initial three-year deal, with the event to be held via a purpose-built race stadium at Porto di Roma.

The 2027 campaign will begin with the Hong Kong Sail Grand Prix on January 23 and 24, the first of 13 events that will take place across the season.

In terms of SailGP's commercial activity, meanwhile, ahead of the Bermuda Sail Grand Prix last month, the series added offshore banking firm Butterfield and credit card giant Mastercard as sponsors.
