Germany-based global sporting goods giant Adidas has become the latest brand to partner this year’s edition of the Solheim Cup.

Adidas will serve as an event supporter and the official footwear supplier of the European team at the major event, outfitting players, team captains, caddies, and other team helpers, as well as tournament staff at large.

This will include a limited-edition shoe range sold exclusively on site around the major event.

The agreement also covers Team Europe players in the Junior Solheim Cup under-18s category event that will immediately precede the Solheim Cup.

Adidas also receives the official licensed footwear supplier designation, gaining the ability to sell licensed associated footwear.

Speaking on the deal, Adidas golf marketing and product director for Europe, Chris Hedderman, said: “We are incredibly proud to become the Official Footwear Supplier of the 2026 Solheim Cup and to be supporting some of the world’s best players as Official Footwear Supplier of the 2026 European Solheim Cup Team.

“This partnership underlines our commitment to elevating women’s golf at every level, and I can’t wait to see the players, caddies, staff and helpers in our footwear at Bernardus Golf in September.”

This deal was supported by global sports agency IMG, the official staging partner of the Solheim Cup.

Traditionally, like the men’s Ryder Cup, the Solheim Cup has rotated hosting duties for each edition between the US and Europe.

The most recent edition took place in the US in 2024 at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Florida.

The 2026 Solheim Cup will take place at the Bernardus Golf Course in Cromvoirt, North Brabant, in the Netherlands.

It will be staged from September 7 through 13, with Team USA seeking to defend its 2024 title.

The three top-tier global partners of the Solheim Cup are watch brand Rolex, golf club equipment manufacturer Ping, and flight marketplace SkyScanner.
