Probellum, the newly-launched boxing promotion, has announced a multi-fight agreement with Discovery Sports, the dedicated arm of the US media giant.
The partnership will begin with back-to-back events on March 18 and 19, with Discovery Sports set to broadcast the two ‘Probellum Evolution’ shows through its pan-European sports broadcaster Eurosport, Discovery+ streaming service, and Eurosport App across 62 markets and territories in Europe and the Indian sub-continent.
The events will be staged in Dubai and feature the likes of French world lightweight champion Estelle Mossely, England’s world flyweight champion Sunny Edwards, and Muhammad Waseem of Pakistan.
Following the Dubai bouts, Probellum will hold three events in the UK in Newcastle on March 25, Liverpool on April 22, and London in May.
Since launching in September 2021, Probellum has signed almost 50 fighters from around the world and staged its first two major events last December.
Those shows were broadcast in the UK by FreeSports, the free-to-air television channel that is the sister of pay-TV’s Premier Sports.
