A new multi-year broadcast services deal has been struck between the organizers of the iconic Wimbledon tennis grand slam and NEP Europe.

NEP Europe, a division of media services heavyweight NEP Group, will continue as a broadcast services provider for the annual grass-court tennis tournament, through a tie-up with the All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) unveiled today.

The deal was agreed with the Wimbledon Broadcast Services arm and has been unveiled as NEP continues to work with the ongoing 2026 Wimbledon Championships through the previous deal between the two parties.

The last four-year tie-up between the two parties was announced in July 2022 and runs through until the end of this year's Championships.

NEP will carry on as the broadcast technical services provider for Wimbledon through the length of this tie-up, extending a long-running overall tie-up with WBS.

Both parties have said continued broadcast services evolution around Wimbledon will involve "expanded IP-based production, streamlined workflows, and enhanced orchestration with NEP's broadcast control system."

Paul Davies, associate director of broadcast, production, and media rights, at the AELTC, stated: "NEP has worked in close collaboration with our team to refine workflows, adopt new technologies, and continually improve our production approach. That shared commitment to innovation has strengthened the host broadcast operation and provides a strong foundation as we continue to enhance coverage of The Championships in the years ahead."

In terms of recent AELTC broadcast rights activity, late June saw the BBC, the UK's public-service broadcaster, extend its deal for another six years, through the 2033 edition of Wimbledon.

The AELTC also renewed its exclusive rights agreement with international sports broadcaster BeIN Sports – covering 24 territories in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region – in June.

Ed Tischler, NEP UK's managing director, added: "This new agreement reflects the trust we've built together and, most importantly, the commitment of our people who continue to push the operation forward every year."

Meanwhile, the AELTC has also extended its commercial tie-up with Italian coffee brand Lavazza, continuing a relationship between the pair that began in 2011.

Global Lavazza brand ambassador Jannik Sinner won the Wimbledon men's singles title last year.

The firm is also a commercial partner of two other tennis Grand Slams – Roland-Garros in Paris, and the US Open in New York.

Usama Al-Qassab, the AELTC's marketing and commercial director, explained: "During the last 15 years, Lavazza has become an integral part of the Wimbledon experience and a welcome sight for our guests. This renewal reflects the strength of a partnership built on shared heritage and a commitment to excellence. We look forward to building on this success in the years to come.”
