Mola TV, the pay-television and over-the-top platform, has acquired exclusive rights to broadcast US golf’s PGA Tour in Singapore.

The agreement was struck with Discovery, the media giant that serves as the tour’s international rights and distribution partner.

Mola’s PGA Tour coverage began yesterday (March 3) with the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the Puerto Rico Open, which will both run until Sunday (March 6).

Viewers can watch the action via the Mola TV OTT service, with subscriptions priced at $5 per month.

The agreement expands the platform’s relationship with the PGA Tour as it also holds rights in its home market Indonesia.

Thierry Pascal, the PGA Tour's senior vice-president of international media, said: "Expanding our partnership with Mola into Singapore is a natural next step for us given the success we've had in Indonesia.

"We trust Mola to deliver our exclusive content to fans, uniting the global PGA Tour community."
