Combine business intelligence and editorial excellence to reach engaged professionals across 36 leading media platforms.
This will entail the firm's technology building the digital ecosystem underpinning Ultimate Sevens' operations in that space – across sectors such as media management, web platforms, and mobile fan engagement.
Specifically, PT SportSuite will aim to build an integrated digital infrastructure, a mobile-first fan experience, and create a centralised AI media workflow.
Barney Pascall, Ultimate Sevens' managing director, has said: "Digital is not an add-on, it is fundamental to how we connect players, clubs and fans. PT SportSuite brings the experience and capability to help us launch with strength and scale with confidence.”
Rich Cheary, PT SportSuite's chief executive, added: "Ultimate Sevens is redefining rugby sevens as a modern, digitally-led global championship. As innovators in sustainable, advanced sportstech ecosystems, we’re excited to provide the cohesive, AI-powered platform that will help them tell their stories."
Ultimate Sevens was officially launched in London earlier this month.
It is being backed by Bia Sports Group, the investment firm that also owns English Premier League soccer club, Sunderland.
The championship will involve events in Wales, France, and Spain, before a grand final at the Gtech Community Stadium in London (the home of English soccer side Brentford) in late September.
There will be both men's and women's editions, of six teams each (with eventual private investment into each team being the aim), and indeed around 75 of the top sevens players have already been signed up to contracts.
In terms of commercial activity, meanwhile, this month has already seen US sportswear brand Reebok announced as the series' official kit partner.
