DAZN, the international sports streaming service, will continue to air Italian soccer's top-tier Serie A in France for the next three seasons.

Through a deal unveiled today, DAZN has extended its French partnership – which began last season – with Lega Serie A across the 2026-27, 2027-28, and 2028-29 campaigns.

During that time period, it will continue to be the exclusive French home for every game from the 20-team league, as well as for all games from the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana knockout cup competitions.

This adds to DAZN's existing stable of soccer rights in France – it already covers Spain's knockout Copa del Rey competition and carries the Ligue 1+ streaming service that domestically airs all games from France's own top league.

French players featuring prominently at Serie A clubs include the likes of Marcus Thuram at 2025-26 title winners Inter Milan, as well as Mike Maignan and Adrien Rabiot at cross-city rivals AC Milan.

Following a lengthy period when Serie A was covered in France by Qatar-owned BeIN Sports, this agreement was allowed to expire in advance of the 2024-25 season. A short-term deal with the L'Equipe media group was then struck, before DAZN first stepped in ahead of 2025-26.

DAZN also covers Serie A domestically, in a five-season agreement also running through 2028-29. That deal sees DAZN show every Serie A game live, with pay-TV heavyweight Sky Italia holding rights to three per matchday.

In addition, the service also holds rights to Italy's top league in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) for next season.

Elsewhere, DAZN is now launching a news service in Italy, through a partnership with media, news, and content organization Antenna Group.

The news service will launch on June 28 as a daily news programme, aiming to capitalize on DAZN Italia's ongoing coverage of the FIFA World Cup in Italy, which runs through mid-July.

It is claimed this represents the first time "a news show in Italy has been devised specifically for a streaming-first audience."

It will cover both Italian and international news, as well as the latest from the world of sport.

This partnership builds on a previous tie-up between Antenna and DAZN that saw the two organizations co-broadcast the entirety of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup soccer tournament in Greece.

DAZN held global coverage rights for that event, but sub-licensed a package of games in Greece out to Antenna-run free-to-air broadcaster ANT1 TV.
