International sports streaming service DAZN has continued its spree of regional NBA broadcast deals in the US by partnering with the Cleveland Cavaliers franchise.
Through a multi-year agreement, DAZN will stream all regular-season Cavs games not selected exclusively for national broadcast, preseason contests, and team-produced original programming.

As part of the deal, the Cavaliers will move game production in-house through Rock Entertainment Sports Network (RESN).
The platform will offer four subscription options: a monthly pass for $19.99 a month, monthly pass ultimate for $24.99 a month, season pass for $119.99 a year, or season pass ultimate for $139.99 a year.
The standard monthly and annual options allow for two streams in one location, while the ‘ultimate’ tiers offer five streams in two locations.
In addition to live game coverage, the subscription includes a weekly show and extended game highlights, while 15 games this season will be available for free.
RESN, in partnership with DAZN, will serve as the master portal brand for Cavaliers content and games. DAZN will also distribute select RESN programming for free.
Nic Barlage, CEO of Rock Entertainment Group, Cleveland Cavaliers and Rocket Arena, said: “The investment we’re making in our broadcast platform creates a fan-centric destination that enriches the experience while simplifying how fans connect to Cavaliers basketball.
“By coupling our in-house production capabilities at RESN with DAZN’s industry-leading platform, we’re bringing our fans a broadcast built on advanced technology and engagement, resulting in a more immersive and personalized experience.”
Shay Segev, CEO of DAZN Group, added: “The United States is a key growth market for DAZN, and the Cleveland Cavaliers are exactly the kind of forward-thinking partner we want to build with as we expand our local sports offering.
“DAZN is becoming the platform where fans can follow the teams and competitions they care about most through a modern and digital-first viewing experience. Together with the Cavaliers, we’re bringing fans closer to the team while helping shape the future of direct-to-consumer sports distribution.”
The OTT platform has already announced similar deals with several NBA franchises in recent weeks, including the Indiana Pacers and Minnesota Timberwolves.
Last week, Monumental Sports Network, the regional sports channel for the Washington, DC area, announced a new distribution deal with DAZN through which it will carry its Monumental+ app that provides local Washington Wizards broadcasts.
The streamer is set to partner with several of the 13 NBA teams whose rights are on the market after Main Street Sports Group (MSSG), owner of the now-defunct regional broadcast network FanDuel Sports Network, announced it was winding down operations earlier this year, forcing the Pacers and Timberwolves to search for a new partner.
At the beginning of 2026, DAZN was in talks to acquire MSSG, and with it a wide swathe of local MLB, NBA, and NHL rights, but that deal never came to fruition, with MSSG then falling into insolvency following the 2025-26 NHL campaign.
DAZN made its long-awaited entry into the US local broadcast market earlier this year, sweeping up the local rights to New York’s NBA, MLB, and NHL teams through a pair of new carriage agreements with MSG Networks (MSGN) and YES Network.
As part of that deal, DAZN becomes the exclusive direct-to-consumer streaming home of seven elite New York-area (city and state) sports teams, including the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets.
Last month, the Charlotte Hornets and Orlando Magic franchises each announced new local broadcast deals with Cox Communications for the 2026-27 campaign.
While linear rights on the local level have been confirmed, both the Magic and the Hornets have said that they will announce local streaming rights at a later date, with reports suggesting that DAZN will continue its local rights push in the two markets.
The Oklahoma City Thunder, however, have decided to go down a different route, announcing a new hybrid broadcast model to show games locally in the 2026-27 season.
The franchise last week unveiled the Thunder Gameday Network, which includes Thunder+, a new direct-to-consumer subscription streaming service available through the NBA App across the five-state Thunder broadcast region.
In addition, there is enhanced local and regional television distribution through Griffin Media, Cox, DirecTV and other participating providers. The options also include a select number of free over-the-air games.
