MatchWornShirt, the international online memorabilia auction platform, has agreed a major new deal in the US with top-flight competition Major League Soccer (MLS) and its players' association (MLSPA).
The multi-year licensing deal will see MatchWornShirt host digital auctions for exclusive, authenticated match-worn signed jerseys from across the 30-team league.

Beginning with the current MLS season, which kicked off earlier in March, teams will be gradually added to the platform until all 30 franchises are represented.
This agreement will cover regular-season MLS games, postseason MLS Cup playoff fixtures, and the annual MLS All-Star game, with auctions beginning at kick-off.
The deal was brokered in part by the MLSPA’s commercial agency OneTeam partners, which continues to operate in that role despite a 2025 probe into its activities by US federal agents, although that was more centered on its relationship to Major League Baseball and National Basketball Association (NBA) players.
MatchWornShirt already has a similar deal in place with the NWSL women's league.

By GlobalDataThis week, MatchWornShirt also tied up a similar agreement with the Los Angeles Clippers NBA franchise.
The Clippers’ first live auction took place on March 9, with the team’s 126-118 win over the New York Knicks, from which jerseys worn by stars Kawhi Leonard, Bennedict Mathurin, and Darius Garland were taken.
At the time of writing, with three days left of the auctions, Garland and Mathurin’s game-worn jerseys sit at around the £$594 mark, while Leonard’s (a seven-time NBA all-star) stands at over $2,000.
