North American basketball’s elite NBA has renewed its broadcast partnership in France with pay-TV heavyweight BeIN Sports.
Through the expanded deal, renewed on multi-year terms, BeIN will now showcase as many as 9 regular-season games per week, as well as tentpole events such as the league’s Christmas Day games, All-Star game, and more.

Combine business intelligence and editorial excellence to reach engaged professionals across 36 leading media platforms.
This will extend through the post-season playoffs, with BeIN showing a selection of NBA playoffs fixtures, the finals of each conference (with games not shown live to instead be shown delayed after the fact), and the season-ending NBA finals.
Coverage will also stretch beyond the NBA season, with the annual NBA Draft also covered, as well as the off-season Summer League developmental tournament.
In addition, the NBA and BeIN will expand the shoulder content and ancillary programming offering around the season, including the NBA Extra magazine show and accompanying podcast.
BeIN Sports France director of editorial, programs, and broadcast, Florent Houzot, commented: “The NBA is a historical right of the channel with editorial coverage that we have always strengthened over time for the greatest pleasure of subscribers.

By GlobalData“For this new season, we will have the pleasure of offering a brand new set to host the unmissable NBA Extra show, which will offer an additional show every Sunday at 12:45 p.m. to offer NBA news 7 days a week."
BeIN has held the rights to the NBA in the country since 2012, and the league has a significant interest in the country, thanks in no small part to the growing number of French players competing, illustrated by the league’s annual efforts to stage international games in the country.
A record 135 international players are on NBA rosters in the 2025-26 season, with 19 of these being from France (another record).
Chief among these is national team star Victor Wembanyama, alongside other notable names such as Zaccharie Risacher (Atlanta Hawks), Noa Essengue (Chicago Bulls), Rudy Gobert (Minnesota Timberwolves), Guerschon Yabusele (New York Knicks), Alex Sarr, and Bilal Coulibaly (both Washington Wizards).
Earlier in 2025, BeIN also showcased much of the EuroBasket men's national team basketball tournament, which featured a number of these players, with France falling in the round of 16 to underdogs Georgia.
In terms of other ways to watch the NBA in France, in the current 2025-2026 campaign, the NBA League Pass direct-to-consumer offering remains available in France, either via the NBA website or Prime Video Channels.
