Chelsea, the English Premier League soccer giants, have agreed a new sponsorship deal with Oman Air, the national carrier.
Under a multi-year agreement, announced today (July 6), the company will serve as the club’s new official airline partner.
The deal represents Oman Air’s first-ever Premier League club partnership and through the tie-up, its branding will be visible at Stamford Bridge and across the club’s digital platforms, alongside exclusive experiences and events.
As part of the launch, and to celebrate its 30th anniversary this year, Oman Air and Chelsea have worked together to design a premium co-branded plane livery, which will feature as part of the airline’s fleet later this year.
Chris Jurasek, chief executive at Chelsea, said: "We are very pleased to welcome Oman Air as our official airline partner. We have a shared ambition for innovation and success both on and off the pitch, and we are excited to bring this partnership to life for our fans around the world."
Chelsea are still in the market for a primary front-of-shirt sponsor after their agreement with telecoms firm Three ended last month (June).
