The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), Spanish soccer’s governing body, has announced Spanish clothing manufacturer elPulpo as its new official clothing partner, one of three new partnerships for the federation.
The agreement, which will last until the men's FIFA 2026 World Cup, will see the brand produce clothing for members of the federation and the Spanish national soccer team, from both an official clothing line it will produce as well as suits.
Jose Antonio Chacón, elPulpo chief executive, said: "We are happy to join the [RFEF]. For us, it is a privilege to design the official clothing line and an exclusive collection that reflects the spirit of the RFEF and represents brand Spain. Without a doubt, it is a dream come true for all of us at elPulpo."
At the announcement press conference, RFEF management commission president Pedro Rocha stressed how important new sponsors partnering with the RFEF is for the body’s long-term goals.
On the same day (November 14), the RFEF agreed a deal with US ticketing firm Stage Front.
The global events hosting brand will not only sponsor the Spanish national team but will also help the RFEF organize friendly matches around the world for that representative side from the beginning of the partnership in March, which is when the team will next assemble after the current set of matches taking place over the next few days.
