North American soccer's top-tier MLS and US headphones company Beats by Dr. Dre have announced a multi-year global agreement that makes Beats the official consumer audio products partner of the MLS.
As part of the deal, MLS clubs will receive custom Beats headphones exclusively created for them, with Beats having selected Atlanta United, Columbus Crew, Inter Miami, Los Angeles FC, Nashville SC, New York City FC, St. Louis City SC, and Toronto FC for 2024, with more to follow later in the partnership.
Additionally, MLS players will be featured in Beats' brand marketing campaigns, which will also be posted on Beats’ and MLS' platforms, with players also being allowed to wear Beats headphones and earphones on the pitch before and after matches.
Chris Thorne, Beats' chief marketing officer, said: "For more than a decade, Beats headphones have been chosen by the world's top athletes to help them get game-ready and heighten their focus, while also allowing them to show off their style and personality.
"Beats will be working closely with the MLS clubs and top players to deliver amazing experiences throughout the upcoming season."
Camilo Durana, MLS’ executive vice president of partnership, properties, and events, added: "Major League Soccer is proud to partner with Beats, a global culture driver, during this period of growth for our League and our sport in North America.”
