English soccer giants Manchester United have unveiled drinks manufacturer Wow Hydrate as their new official sports hydration partner.

The three-year deal will see Wow Hydrate’s range of sports drinks available at retail points across the Premier League club's iconic Old Trafford stadium, as well as at the training facilities of the club’s men’s, women’s, and youth category teams.

Furthermore, the two will engage in advertising campaigns around the partnership, with Man Utd players set to feature in Wow Hydrate content and on co-branded products.

Speaking to GlobalData Sport, Queenie Porter, Wow Hydrate managing director, shed light on the reasons behind why the drinks brand chose Man Utd, saying: “Globally, [Man Utd are] obviously the biggest football club, and we've got huge expansion plans into Europe and [the US] next year. So it's a football club that we thought would resonate globally.”

Wow Hydrate already sponsors Man Utd player Harry Maguire, as well as boxing star Tyson Fury, and Porter added that the sponsorship with the club has the potential to evolve over time.
