Reigning English Premier League soccer champions Manchester City have signed a new multi-year sponsorship deal with technology firm Veritran.

In its new role as the club's official fan identity partner, Veritran's technology will be integrated with City’s existing infrastructure, with Veritran claiming that its technology will enhance processes and transactions for fans across areas such as registration, memberships, and ticketing.

Kaitlyn Beale, vice president of global partnership sales for City Football Group, Manchester City’s owners, said: "As a club, we strive to be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology and innovation in order to further enhance our solutions-based infrastructure and help us continually improve our processes for fans."

"We are excited by Veritran's products and solutions and we look forward to working with them to implement this technology over the next few years."

Marcelo Fondacaro, chief commercial officer at Veritran, added: "At Veritran, our mission has always been to simplify and elevate digital processes. This partnership will further enhance Manchester City's technology infrastructure, creating smoother, more connected, and more enjoyable interactions for fans worldwide."

Manchester City boasts a global network of partnerships with the likes of Japanese beer brand Asahi and, most recently, Chinese dairy group Yili serving as vehicles to grow the club internationally.

Meanwhile, Constant Contact, a digital marketing company, has been unveiled as a new sponsor of Chelsea Women, the reigning champions of England’s top-tier Women’s Super League.

Through the strategic partnership, Constant Contact will serve as an official partner and the club's first women’s-only training kit sleeve partner.

The tie-up will commence at the WSL fixture between Chelsea and Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Sunday (January 26) where Constant Contact will be the presenting partner of the game.

The team will wear newly branded Constant Contact training kits to warm up in pre-match, and branding will be featured across the player arrival zone and tunnel where the teams walk out, with visibility on social posts throughout the matchday.

Aki Mandhar, Chelsea Women's chief executive, said: "As we continue on the mission of delivering our strategic growth plan for Chelsea Women, we welcome Constant Contact to our growing portfolio of women's-only partners.

"We look forward to starting this journey together and working in partnership to support each other's ambitious growth plans."
