Infront Moto Racing, promoter and marketer of the FIM Motocross World Championship (MXGP), FIM Motocross of Nations, and several other motocross events, have announced the renewal of their long-running tie-up with global energy drink giant Monster.
The multi-year deal will see Monster continue as MXGP’s primary official sponsor, and Monster Energy branding will continue to take prominent positions at MXGP events.
The brand will also maintain its place as the title sponsor of the FIM Motocross of Nations series, known as the Monster Energy Motocross of Nations, which saw a 102,000-person turnout at its final 2023 event in Ernée, France.
Monster Energy has partnered with MXGP for over a decade, first supporting MXGP in 2011, and the new “long-term” renewal cements the brand’s place as the “most influential” brand partnership in the sport.
David Luongo, chief executive at Infront Moto Racing, stated: “We are very proud to announce the renewal of our partnership with Monster Energy. On top of being the most exciting and active brand in the world of Motorsports, Monster Energy has also been a very strong partner in the most difficult and challenging times we had to experience, especially during the two years of Covid-19.”
David Gowland, Monster Energy senior vice president of motorsports, added: “Right from the company’s beginning, the sport of motocross has played a significant role in the trajectory of Monster Energy and that will now continue with the extension and fortification of Monster Energy’s role as the primary sponsor of MXGP, as well as the title sponsor of the storied Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations.”
