International sports marketing giant IMG has hired Luke Organ as senior vice president of global partnerships for its media business.
In his new position, Organ will be in charge of brand partnership sales for IMG’s range of media assets, such as Sport 24, the in-flight and on-ship entertainment service that it owns. He will also oversee sales covering the agency’s “key media business partners,” such as basketball’s EuroLeague, World Table Tennis, the Professional Games League, and the Global Esports Federation.
His focus will be on finding and utilizing opportunities to “introduce IMG’s extensive range of capabilities and expertise to new rights holders and brands.”
Organ is joining IMG from the Right Formula sports marketing agency, where he most recently served as managing director of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and Asia-Pacific.
Before his time at that firm, he worked for the English Premier League soccer club Aston Villa, and the Wasps professional rugby club.
Organ will report to Robbie Henchman, president of global partnerships for IMG and the On Location hospitality firm, and into Chris Guinness, the IMG head of commercial worldwide.
