North American basketball’s NBA has extended its long-standing partnership with Getty Images to continue as its official photographic agency.

The renewed deal also covers the women’s WNBA, NBA G League and the NBA 2K esports league.

Getty will continue to exclusively distribute photographs from the NBA’s photo library, including iconic moments dating back 75 years as the league prepares to enter its 75th anniversary season.

The company will deliver imagery from the four leagues throughout their respective seasons, including every NBA regular season and playoff game as well as the NBA Finals.

David Denenberg, NBA senior vice-president of national and local network partnerships, said:  "Demand for content from all of our leagues has never been greater, and Getty Images is the ideal partner to continue providing the moments captured by our photographers to media, as well as our business partners and fans around the world."

Getty has partnerships with several major sports leagues, teams and governing bodies including, the International Olympic Committee Fifa, Uefa, International Cricket Council, Major League Baseball, National Hockey League, Nascar, PGA of America, the PGA, Manchester United and Bayern Munich.
