The Delhi Capitals of Indian cricket’s high-profile IPL Twenty20 competition has announced a new multi-year partnership with Indian finance company Hero Fincorp.

Hero will serve as the new title partner of the team, with Hero branding appearing in the primary front-of-shirt sponsorship slot on all Delhi Capitals men’s team kits.

Hero Fincorp replaces Indian multinational conglomerate JSW Group, which had been the shirt sponsor of the side from the beginning of the 2020 season through the end of the 2023 campaign.

Other Delhi Capitals sponsors include international logistics firm DP World, which is the team’s back-of-shirt sponsor, and Indian wood paneling manufacturer Greenpanel, which is the team’s secondary front-of-shirt sponsor in the upper chest branding slot.

In recent days, the Gujarat Titans, Punjab Kings, and Kolkata Knight Riders franchises announced Indian fantasy sports platform Dream11 as their principal shirt sponsor for the new season.

Meanwhile, the IPL itself has unveiled a trio of Indian companies that have secured associate partnership slots for the 2024 edition of the competition and onwards.

Fantasy sports platform operator My11Circle, stockbroker technology firm Angel One, and card payment service RuPay will all serve as partners of the competition, with Angel One doing so for the next five seasons and RuPay for the next three.

RuPay first partnered with the IPL in 2022 and has now extended this partnership through the end of the 2026 season.

The trio of partners join tire manufacturer Ceat, which officially unveiled the renewal of its role as the official strategic timeout partner of the IPL for a further five years earlier this year.

The 2024 IPL season begins tomorrow (March 22).
