CSM Live, the events arm of the UK-based sports and entertainment agency, has agreed a deal with the organisers of the 2022 Commonwealth Games, to be held in Birmingham in England.

CSM Live will be the ‘official provider of look, wayfinding and signage’ at next year’s games, due to take place from 28 July to 8 August 2022.

The division will be “responsible for all aspects of venue dressing, for both competition and non-competition venues… including scoping, producing, installing and de-rigging all elements of venue dress," the games' organising committee has said.

This remit includes field-of-play branding, information and map-based signage, sponsor branding, media infrastructure and host city dressing.

It has committed to work with local companies and suppliers to fulfil these requirements, and will also “work to design and provide an entirely sustainable solution".

CSM Live had similar responsibilities at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, which took place in Glasgow.
