Chelsea Women, the reigning champions of England’s top-tier Women’s Super League soccer competition, have partnered with Czech car manufacturer Skoda.

Skoda branding will be present at Chelsea Women's home games at both their regular Kingsmeadow home and at the Stamford Bridge stadium in high-profile fixtures.

Skoda will also support the team on exclusive digital content for both the car brand and the club’s digital and social media platforms.

The partnership will be led by Skoda’s all-electric Enyaq model of cars, which players and staff from both the first team and academy will have access to at the club’s Cobham training center.

The partnership, Skoda’s first in women’s soccer, will be inaugurated at the team’s upcoming home fixture against Manchester United Women at Stamford Bridge on January 21. The Chelsea Women's team bus will be led to the stadium by a group of Skoda Enyaqs in a matching blue colorway.

Chelsea Women’s commercial director Zarah Al-Kudcy said of the partnership: “Škoda have shown a passion for and knowledge of our women’s team since we first met them. They perfectly align to the values of our team, and I look forward to seeing the partnership come to life as we both continue to push the boundaries of our brands.”

Kirsten Stagg, Skoda UK head of marketing, added: “Škoda are proud to partner with Chelsea Women, an organization of true pioneers. From trailblazing coaches and exceptional players, to the charitable work of the Chelsea Foundation and the exciting attacking game which keeps fans on the edge of their seats, this is a club that embraces possibilities and pushes boundaries.”

Skoda has a long history of partnering with sports organizations across Europe, most prominently in cycling.

In 2022, Skoda renewed its long-standing partnership with events company SweetSpot to continue to sponsor cycling’s Tour of Britain and Women’s Tour of Britain through to 2024.

The car manufacturer has also partnered with the iconic Tour de France cycling as its official automotive partner 20 times in a row between 2003 and 2023, making it one of the grand tour’s most prominent long-standing partners, one which is likely to continue in 2024.
