US banking giant Chase, which operates an online-only retail banking service in the UK, has simultaneously announced four new multi-year partnerships with the soccer governing bodies (FA’s) of England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

Chase’s online UK operation will serve as the official banking partner of all four national governing bodies in the UK, including each’s men’s, women’s, youth's, and para-soccer national teams.

Training gear worn by players in each national team will be adorned with Chase branding, and the bank will collaborate with each of the four FA’s on social projects to aid low-income individuals by aiding them in securing soccer coaching qualifications.

Chase will also activate alongside the four FA’s for fan experiences surrounding their respective matches and training grounds.

Each of the FA’s chief executives made statements around the partnership, with Mark Bullingham, head of England’s FA saying: “Our new partnership with Chase is an exciting opportunity that will help us to develop the next generation of coaching talent across all levels of English football.”

Irish FA chief Patrick Nelson added: “This partnership will provide added value to different parts of our operation, which is really exciting. We know that our senior teams attract significant attention, and rightly so. But we are committed to enhancing the skillset of individuals right across our football family and the bursary for aspiring coaches that comes as part of our partnership with Chase, an organization that shares our vision and values here at the Irish FA, will really help us continue to do that."

In recent times, Chase has been expanding its association with soccer on both sides of the Atlantic. Earlier in February, the bank announced that it would become the new title sponsor of Inter Miami’s home stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in a multi-year deal.

The venue, which will now be known as the Chase Stadium, houses 21,500 seats and will have much media exposure given the team’s signing of Argentine soccer icon Lionel Messi.

Chase will also have major signage branding on the interior and exterior of the stadium, and Inter Miami will introduce the J.P. Morgan Suite Level and VIP Entrance to the venue.

While that was Chase’s first stadium naming rights deal, the bank has also previously partnered with fellow US soccer side Colombus Crew and has long-standing commercial ties in the sport of basketball through its partnership with the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks, and its naming rights deal with the Golden State Warriors’ Chase Center.
