Bondi Sands, the suncare brand, has extended its sponsorship of the Australian Open (AO) tennis grand slam until 2027.

The brand will continue in its role as the tournament’s official sunscreen partner.

Twenty3 Sport and Entertainment, Bondi Sands’ sponsorship agency, negotiated the partnership renewal and will oversee the delivery of the brand’s onsite activity and wider activation plans.

This year, Bondi Sands will activate misting stations and sunscreen sampling throughout the AO precinct, running a dedicated activation at the grand slam oval between January 14 to 28.

The company first partnered with Tennis Australia for last year's tournament.

Shaun Wilson, co-founder and chief executive of Bondi Sands, said: “As we have become a globally recognized brand and market leader in suncare, extending our partnership with Tennis Australia for the Australian Open has formed a major part of our strategy for the Bondi Sands suncare category.”
