Vail Williams to Sponsor a Yacht in the Challenge Transat 2002

Vail Williams, the commercial property consultants, are to sponsor a yacht in the forthcoming Challenge Transat 2002, due to set sail this Sunday (25th August 2002).

Operating across the UK, Vail Williams provides real estate solutions to occupiers of business space, landlords, investors, developers and government bodies. The company acquire and dispose of space, advise on rent reviews, lease renewals and ratings appeals, and also manage property, conduct research and manage building work.

‘Vail Williams’, sponsors of the Team Xtrm yacht, is being skippered by 39-year-old David Melville with 29-year-old Steven White as mate. Also on board will be Crew Volunteer Irene Spencer who is a partner at the Southampton division of Vail Williams.

Vail Williams has a pedigree in yacht racing having started out as a Business Club Member sponsoring the yacht Quadstone in the BT Global Challenge 2000/01. It was also a sponsor and participant in the cutting-edge research project that ran alongside the race, examining the importance of ‘Emotional Intelligence.’
