Williams and Alpine have secured new sponsors as teams from the prestigious Formula 1 (F1) motor racing series continue to step up their commercial efforts ahead of the 2026 season.

Asset management firm Nuveen has agreed a new multi-year partnership with Williams, while the Alpine F1 outfit has brought in Spanish technology company Indra Group.

As Williams’ official asset management partner, Nuveen’s branding will be displayed above the steering wheel and on the inner rear wing of drivers Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon’s FW48 race cars.

In terms of recent commercial activity, Williams renewed its sponsorship deal with Vast Data, the AI data platform, in October.

Earlier in 2025, the team secured its first title sponsor in five years, bringing in Australian tech firm Atlassian.

Williams' sponsorship portfolio also includes Kraken, Gulf Oil, Betway, Duracell, New Era, and Pirelli.

Indra Group, meanwhile, will serve as Alpine’s technology partner and integrate its IndraMind artificial intelligence platform into the team's operational ecosystem.

The integration will “facilitate the real-time analysis and correlation of massive volumes of data generated each race weekend to optimize strategic decision-making and anticipate critical situations.”

The two parties also stated that IndraMind will bring advanced predictive capabilities, increased operational efficiency, and a decisive cognitive advantage over the competition.

Alpine F1 also recently added cloud-based talent management platform Avature to its partnership stable.

The France-based team has an extensive sponsorship portfolio that features water treatment systems supplier BWT as title partner, and the likes of Qatar Airways, Eni, MSC Cruises, Castore, and Mercado Libre.

Several F1 teams, including Mercedes, Red Bull Racing, McLaren, Aston Martin, and Haas have announced new deals this week as the 2026 season approaches.

The 24-race campaign begins with the Australian Grand Prix on March 8.
