Visa extends as key sponsor of Red Bull F1 teams

The extension will see the company continue as a major commercial partner of Red Bull Racing and Racing Bulls.

Credit card giant Visa has announced a multi‑year renewal and expansion of its global partnership with Red Bull’s two Formula 1 (F1) motor racing teams.

The extension will see the company continue as a major commercial partner of both the main Red Bull Racing outfit and its Racing Bulls sister side.

Building on the partnership launched in 2024, the renewed agreement will provide Visa with new branding rights, enhanced hospitality assets, and “immersive experiential opportunities” across both teams.

Visa will also continue as a title partner of both the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls F1 outfit and its F1 Academy programme.

As part of the renewed agreement with Red Bull Racing, Visa will maintain its position as a key partner of the UK-based side while adding new on‑car branding placements and continuing its prominence on the front wing of the RB22 race car.

In May 2025, Visa expanded its partnership with Red Bull Racing to add front wing branding to its deal.

Visa has also secured exclusive rights within the retail banking category, alongside expanded pass‑through rights.

The major credit card firm’s relationship with Red Bull Racing will also extend to F1 Academy through the Red Bull Racing Academy Programme.

As the all-female series enters its fourth year, Visa will support two cars on the grid.

Visa stated that the enhanced partnership “unlocks a broader portfolio of premium experiences and an even greater access to the team.”

The deal has been struck ahead of the start of the 2026 F1 season, which gets underway on March 8 with the Australian Grand Prix.

Red Bull Racing, the six-time F1 Constructors Champions, has announced several commercial deals over the past month, most recently agreeing a long-term global partnership with Damac Properties, the UAE-based private real estate developer.

Both Visa and Damac Properties serve as second-tier global partners of the team, alongside Tag Heuer, Rokit, Mobil1, Ford Racing, Carlyle, AT&T, and Gate.io.

Last month, Red Bull Racing struck a new multi-year partnership with male-oriented hair care brand Clear.
